Sonia helped launch EMLI Mesa Gardens, a landmark project that will provide secure, affordable housing for 300 Houston families upon completion in 2026. She also led nearly $1 million in beautification projects across Greater East Houston, strengthening neighborhoods, boosting the local economy, and restoring community pride.
Her approach is simple: empower people, not bureaucracy. Sonia believes government should cut red tape, speed up permitting, and remove barriers that make housing unaffordable.
